Karen Anderson

Karen did her PhD in Biochemistry at the Baker Medical 51在线 Institute/Melbourne University in Australia investigating phosphatidylinositol signalling in myocardial ischaemia and reperfusion. She came to the Inositide laboratory in 1997 as part of a two year Australian NHMRC CJ Martin/RG Menzies fellowship, and remained in the lab for a further three years after being awarded a Beit Memorial Postdoctoral Fellowship. She returned to Melbourne, Australia in 2001 to complete her CJ Martin, and then subsequently a RD Wright Fellowship. Karen returned to the Inositide lab in 2004, and became a Babraham Institute Senior 51在线 Associate in 2005. Currently, she is investigating the molecular mechanisms regulating the activation of PI3K?.
