I gained my BSc and MSc at the University of Birmingham, where I completed a project investing an h2ax mutant displaying an aberrant meiotic phenotype. I then went to work for a gene therapy manufacturing company. After my time in industry, I decided to return to academia to complete a PhD at the University of Cambridge with the Babraham Institute. I am currently working with the Christophorou group on citrullination and the PADI4 enzyme.
